The Origin of Volunteer

Buddhism is a community of volunteers; both monastics and the laity are volunteers serving the human world.

Being a volunteer does not mean one lacks ability; rather, it means one is willing to dedicate their talents to the service of others.

Service is spiritual practice; giving is personal growth.

Seeking no salary and no status, but giving selflessly for the benefit of all—this is the true spirit of a volunteer.
