Due to weather-related damage, nearby utility poles have fallen, causing a power outage at the temple and surrounding area. The temple is temporarily closed until power is restored and safety inspections are completed. A reopening announcement will be made later.
According to ComEd, power is expected to be restored by Sunday 6:00 PM.
